March 18 – Five Comparisons To Make With Hybrid Construction
Original price was: $95.00.$0.00Current price is: $0.00.
Description
Construction is always a balancing act when making decisions between differing materials. Material manufacturers are constantly changing their products to gain a strategic edge over their competitors. This often leads to designers and specifiers questioning what is best for their project. This presentation is a result of a study comparing typical steel and hybrid construction. The comparison variables are cost, sustainability, fire protection, vibration and acoustics.
This webinar is provided by the Steel Joist Institute. Participants can earn 1.5 PDHs.
Learning Objectives
- Explain what variables are important to consider in hybrid construction.
- Learn how to compare multiple variables in hybrid construction.
- Identify what building types are favorable for hybrid construction.
- Understand what building types are favorable for all steel construction.
