This webinar, based on SJI’s Technical Digest 11, provides a comprehensive overview of using open web steel joists and joist girders in lateral load-resisting systems for wind and seismic applications. Attendees will gain insights into typical framing systems, diaphragms, and bracing configurations along with commonly used connection details. The session will also cover best practices for clearly conveying design requirements to the joist manufacturer.
