Sporting over 48,000 square feet of indoor space, Delta Sonic Car Wash, located in Oswego, IL, is the largest Delta Sonic facility in the country. This facility utilized 40” deep “barrel” joists to not only create the unique and aesthetically pleasing roof shape but to also do it in a cost-effective way. Along with the rest of the short span joists, these joists enabled the owner to create an environmentally friendly facility with solar panels and rain reclamation systems.
