This webinar provides guidance to specifying professionals and joist manufacturers using open web steel joists and joist girders. Design considerations for both wind and seismic loads are discussed. The webinar addresses the use of steel diaphragms, frames, and bracing systems and commonly used details. SJI Technical Digest 4 is the reference for this webinar.
