The Steel Joist Institute presents the webinar “Composite Joists – New 2nd Edition Specifications, New Technical Digest No. 13.” Composite steel construction has been recognized for a number of years as one of the most economical systems for building floors. It has been shown that composite steel joists deliver an economical shallow floor system with reduced floor-to-floor heights by providing easy routing of HVAC ducts, plumbing, and electrical conduits through the steel joist open web system.
