This project is a Distribution Center servicing northern California for Medline Industries, Inc. The project sits on 37 acres & consists of the main warehouse of 1,050,000 square feet & an office area of 24,000 square feet in the Prologis International Park of Commerce in Tracy, CA. This ‘green’ building is of tilt-up construction utilizing joists & joist girders for the interior framing with a 37-ft. clear height. The main focus of interest on this project, was the use of a panelized erection system for the joists, bridging, girders & steel deck. These components were assembled together on the ground as a single unit & then lifted onto the roof for installation.

This is a new manufacturing facility in Midland, MI, that will produce batteries for electric and hybrid automobiles. Steel joists and joist girders were utilized for the support of a very complex layout of mechanical equipment and process piping.

North Valley Commerce Center Building D

This large distribution center utilizes a hybrid steel and wood design, as is typical of many large projects in the Western US. The steel joists were manufactured with a wood nailer installed on the top chord to allow for easy installation of a wood deck system.
