This is the Painting Facility for the Nissan Leaf Electric Vehicle. The project consisted of girder, short-span and long-span joists with wide flange beam headers being bolted to joist vertical members.
The use of a steel joists and joist girders over a heavier, less flexible structural system was economical as well as structurally effective.

New construction of manufacturing and warehouse facility featuring 6,000 sf office mezzanine, solar thermal hot water, photovoltaic solar panels, roof top greenhouse, and daylight harvesting.
The client’s goal was for an efficient and cost-effective building on a very tight schedule, along with being Miami-Dade County’s first LEED Silver Certified facility.
This is the first phase, at approximately 300,000 sq. ft. of an eventual one million sq. ft. production facility Nikola’s zero emission electric trucks.
