This is the Painting Facility for the Nissan Leaf Electric Vehicle. The project consisted of girder, short-span and long-span joists with wide flange beam headers being bolted to joist vertical members.
The use of a steel joists and joist girders over a heavier, less flexible structural system was economical as well as structurally effective.

New construction of manufacturing and warehouse facility featuring 6,000 sf office mezzanine, solar thermal hot water, photovoltaic solar panels, roof top greenhouse, and daylight harvesting.
This uniquely aesthetically pleasing project uses bowstring joist girders to create a artistic feel to this manufacturing facility. The 110’ bowstring Joist Girders provides for adequate clear space for the operations. The client calls this “industrial art”.
The Duke Perris Logistics Center is a LEED Certified building with a 36′ clearance under roof structure for racks & storage. Arched canopies & stone veneer at office areas were added to the project to create a more aesthetic appearance.
