Designing With The 2022 SDI Standard For Steel Deck – What’s New?

The new SDI Standard, ANSI/SDI SD-2022 Standard for Steel Deck combines the scope of the earlier 2017 Standards for roof deck, non-composite floor deck and composite deck slabs into a single, user-friendly document. By focusing on performance, it drops artificial barriers to application that existed within the three previous Standards and adds an additional scope to allow for innovative applications for steel deck.
