This is the Painting Facility for the Nissan Leaf Electric Vehicle. The project consisted of girder, short-span and long-span joists with wide flange beam headers being bolted to joist vertical members.
The use of a steel joists and joist girders over a heavier, less flexible structural system was economical as well as structurally effective.
Duke Perris Logistics Center II

The Duke Perris Logistics Center is a LEED Certified building with a 36′ clearance under roof structure for racks & storage. Arched canopies & stone veneer at office areas were added to the project to create a more aesthetic appearance.
One of the most interesting facts of the project was the sheer size. Steel tonnage totals are as follows: Roof Joists = 1,227 tons; joist girders = 2,668 tons; wall joist = 1,045 tons; and joist bridging = 540 tons.
This project had an aggressive schedule with only six weeks for engineering and start of delivery. The entire project delivered in three to four months and each sequence required multiple loads of material on-site at one time.
