A new convention center that will serve Nashville residents, the project is very architecturally unique and includes a “drum wall” lobby entrance, wave roof and many structural elements that remain exposed in a finish condition.

The use of steel joist over the lobby wall areas enables for the desired curve lines to be followed effectively. In addition, open web steel joist are an economical solution for a special profile roof situation.

Steel joists helped to provide an architecturally and cost effective pleasing entrance lobby for the Nashville Music City Center.

Replacing the high school’s old structure the Doc Harris Stadium is a new construction that utilized long-span open web joists to structural steel trussed towers. This project for the Camas School District utilized a stepped-down joist detail to create a thin profile along the roof perimeter.
