The goal of the project was to create a ‘carousel’ type roof that is architecturally pleasing.

The use of joist girders as the two main framing member criss-crossing one another, together with the connection details that is used to connect all the roof framing members accomplished the goal of the owner and designer. Also important was the option to combine an efficient joist girder and LH steel joist with special connection in all of the framing members.
